How
to get to Abaco
Plenty of large airlines and several charter carriers serve passengers
flying into The Islands Of The Bahamas. Frequent flights are available
to Nassau, Freeport and The Out Islands. Although there are no direct
flights from Europe to The Islands Of The Bahamas, a quick stopover
in Miami or Nassau is easy and perfectly viable.
There
are ten to fifteen flights per day from southern Florida to airports
on The Abaco Islands. Several airlines offer a daily service to
Marsh Harbour Airport (MHH) in Abaco. Take either a one-hour flight
from the East Coast of Florida or a thirty-five minute fight from
Nassau or Grand Bahama. There is good connecting service from all
destinations around the world.
Taxis
will meet all incoming flights and the rates are standard and they
will wait for you if you need to stop by any stores, for an additional
fee (tips are appreciated).
